A few months ago I had the privilege to sit down for a Q&A interview with Dr. Dan Finley. Dan writes for Go! Magazine. This section is called Chat with a Pastor. Go! Magazine is a Christian publication that circulates along the emerald coast of Florida. Below is the interview!
A Special thank you to Dr. Dan Finley, a man whom I consider a friend and a great example of a Christian who looks for ways to give back to the community and the world. I also know his students at Gulf Coast College appreciate his humor.
Also, my gratitude goes out to Patti Smith for allowing me to be part of her publication. Patti loves Jesus and seeks ways to express her faith with kindness. Please give Go! Magazine a look!
As always, remember that you are love.

What a wonderful reflection of a priest we came to love instantly when he arrived at our church. His passion , sincerity, love and compassion were always front and center as he preached the Gospel.
He remains in our prayers and I know we are in his. His wife and son blessed us in new and beautiful ways. Thanks be to God for putting him in our lives.

Thank you, Carol! It was a fun interview.
Also, thank you for your sweet words about my time in Asheville. I’m so fortunate to have met you and Jack! You’re right; Brody and Amber are gifts. It brought a lot of healing to my soul to watch them both lean into St. Andrew’s, serve in various ministries, and have fantastic relationships within the diocese and with Russell, our bishop. It was quite a miracle because Brody vowed he’d never return to TEC, and he didn’t for 18 months. But then God did something in his heart, and he’s now the lead acolyte and in charge of training new servers.
